Maybe I missed them. I am also a person of faith. I pray and trust in God and Jesus Christ to guide me. There is a lot you can do to help you get into the right mindset.
Commit to staying involved and learning and sharing. Set a goal and stay at it. For example: reach out to 5 people a day. Let them know a little of what you are up to. Listen to them and tell them how this is impacting your life. Never tell them what to do, let them see how good it is doing for you.
Write your goals on a poster on the wall or something, Come back to them and change them, but don't erase them. Just put a line through them so you won't forget how they started. It's always good to stay in touch and help people with their goals. Make it real.
